Date Night

Todd and I have date night every Tuesday. Last night I surprised him with fun event in the city. I packed a picnic and we went down to the Capitol and sat on the lawn and had our dinner. It was a gorgeous evening. Then the Air Force Band gave a free concert on the steps. We had fun listening to the music and enjoying the evening together!

MBC Uptown Campus Schools Clean-up Project

This past weekend over 100 people from our church went down into the city to help clean up some of the schools before classes start. Volunteers painted, organized libraries and did landscaping. It was a great day and a successful outreach to this community. Todd will be the campus pastor at this new campus from our church which is set to launch in January 2008 in the NW part of the city. We are excited to reach this area with the good news and love of Jesus Christ!

Charles and Lori's stay with us

Our good friends Charles and Lori lived with us the month of August while in town for a conference Lori was attending. We had fun having roommates and were sad to see them go. We introduced them to ear candles, Lori showed me how to make my own stationary, we ate out a lot and just had fun together.
